Registration
TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT FOR NATIONAL QUALIFIER CLASSES AT THIS YOUTH REGIONAL (Classes 22-36) MAKE SURE TO REGISTER WITH MX SPORTS BY THE DEADLINE. Deadline is Monday, June 20 (11pm CST).
Registration for the non qualifying Regional+ class will be done on-site during registration hours. This class is open to all racers that meet the age requirement regardless of whether the racer is racing in a Regional Qualifier class. No prior qualifiers are needed for this class only.
All racers must be a member of the AMA. You can join at the track but are highly encouraged to join/renew online prior to arrival.
Racers under the age of 18 in possession of a “Competition Membership” card from the AMA are still expected to have a parent or guardian in attendance. If a parent is not in attendance, then a dated, signed, and notarized release from a parent with the event name, dates, and location is required. The release MUST be notarized. (see below for printable release)
◆ Race registration will take place on race weekend at the registration tower using our easy touchscreen self-registration system. (There is no online pre-registration.)
◆ Those trying to qualify for Loretta’s should make sure they have a spot on the starting line by registering by the deadline with MX Sports for this regional.
◆ TRANSPONDER SCORING WILL BE USED for all classes. Transponders may be rented on-site for the event. Pick up your transponder BEFORE coming to registration. You will need to provide your transponder # in order to register.
◆ Be sure to bring your AMA card, transponder number, and 4-digit frame number of each bike you will be competing on to registration. You must ride the same bike for all motos. All minors must have a parent or legal guardian (with notarized release from parents) present to sign AMA release. NO VALID RELEASE = NO RIDE. (See below.)
.
Minor Release
NO VALID RELEASE = NO RIDE! All riders under 18 years MUST have a parent present to sign a release to be able to practice or race. AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE OR RACE UNLESS THEY HAVE A VALID CONSENT FORM. All minors attending this event without parents, must come with a NOTARIZED statement from parents or legal guardian giving permission for another adult to act as guardian to sign releases.
◆ If a parent will NOT be coming with their child, the parent will need to print this SWAN MINOR RELEASE and get it NOTARIZED so the listed Legal Guardian may sign the AMA release at Registration. Please send 2 copies, one for Swan MX and one for the guardian to keep in case in case of emergency.
.
International Racers
All non-US citizen racers must have class clearance from the AMA to participate at the Loretta Lynn’s National in Tennessee. We encourage you to contact the AMA Motocross Racing Department at 1-800-AMA-JOIN or email [email protected] prior to attending any Qualifier. You can participate in the Qualifier prior to contacting the AMA but this step must be taken prior to the National. You need to make sure you are eligible for the class you are qualifying in so start this process as soon as possible.
Non-Registered Qualified Racers / Alternates
◆ Alternates will be placed based on power ranking.
◆ Non-registered alternates will be accepted in all classes that do not cause the class to have to run qualifiers. In other words, if a class is pre-registered at 35 racers and all 35 are in attendance, there are 5 spots available for non-registered qualified racers or non-registered alternates.
◆ If a class is pre-registered at 41 racers, then the number of available spots will depend upon no-shows. If a class is pre-registered with more than 41 racers, then up to 72 racers can be initially placed in the class.
◆ Non-registered qualifier racers or non-registered alternates should come to registration during registration hours. You can participate in Friday’s practice day and Saturday morning’s practice. Placement in racing classes cannot be determined until after registration closes on Saturday morning. We will call anyone who is in this situation to registration to let you know whether or not you made it in. Your entry fee(s) will be refunded in any class in which we are unable to place you.
