THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS THE BIGGEST EVENT EVER AT SWAN MX!
What a fantastic weekend of racing!!  We were incredibly blessed to have such perfect weather!  Thank you to all of the racers who came out and participated!  Riders traveled many hours from 15 different states to be here!  We hope that each one of you had a wonderful time, met some new friends, and made lots of great memories!
We would like to extend a warm welcome to each of the 83 NEW RACERS this weekend!  These were racers who had NEVER been to Swan before!  We loved seeing so many new faces and getting to meet some of you.  We welcome you back again to our future events!
With 78 pros entered in the 25th Annual Texas Pro Challenge, everyone enjoyed watching the full gates take off!  The overall winner of BOTH classes this year was Kyle Cunningham, with Jimmy Albertson right behind him in second place!  Congratulations to all of the racers who showed up and took on the challenge!

The 2016 Texas Pro-Am Challenge overall was a great event, but there are a few things that were really disappointing that I want to explain, and apologize for.
 
I am sorry for not running the pro section on Saturday!  With no more time to make adjustments, and for my first time ever, I was truly concerned about the jumps that I had built.  The thought of hurting one of these young men (possibly really bad, or worse), I could not do it!!  This should have never happened! 
 
I am also sorry for not keeping the track all day in as good of shape as you have seen here before!  No rain for two weeks prior to this race did not help, but that still should not have mattered!!
 
And I am also sorry for not keeping the pit roads dust under control for the whole day not just part of each day!!  There are other issues that I did not like, but my list of disappointments can get really long…too long for this letter!!
 
Thank you to every one that came out to Swan, I hope you will come back again for an even better experience!
